Bibb County is a county located in Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the county was 153887 as per the 2000 census data. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 155216, It is the 13th largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 255.13 miē (660.78 kmē), of which, 249.96 square miles (647.39 kmē) of it is land and 5.17 square miles (13.39 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 39th smallest by total area among Georgia's county.
