Bibb County is a one of the county from Alabama's 67 counties, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 20826 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 21629, It is the 21st smallest county by population in the U.S. state of Alabama. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 626.16 sq mi (1621.75 square kilometre), of which, 623.03 square miles (1613.64 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.14 square miles (8.13 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Alabama's 22nd smallest county by total area.

In the county Population was distributed with 25.4% under the age of 18, 9.5% from 18 to 24, 30.9% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 106.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 107 males. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 21629, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 16626 White, 4792 Black or African American, 60 American Indian, 19 Asian, 2 Native Hawaiian, and 130 from two or more races.
