Bethlehem City is a city in the Lehigh and Northampton counties, Pennsylvania, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 71329 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 72241, It is Pennsylvania's seventh largest by population . It covers total area of 19.42 square miles (50.3 kmē), of which, 19.26 square miles (49.88 kmē) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 kmē) of it is water, it is the 15th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
