Berwick Town is a one of the St. Mary Parish, Louisiana, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 4418 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 4281, making it Louisiana's 117th largest. The town spans an area of 6.07 sq mi (15.72 kmē), of which, 5.96 square miles (15.44 kmē) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 kmē) of it is water, it is the 104th largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4418 residents, 400 households, and 290 families in the town. The population density was 741.3 people per square mile (286.22/kmē), it is 187th most densely populated town in Louisiana. There were 1825 housing units at an average density of 306.2 per square mile (118.22/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.67 persons, and the average family size was 3.15 persons. In the town the population was spread out, with 29.7% under the age of 18, 8.8% from 18 to 24, 30.9% from 25 to 44, 21.1% from 45 to 64, and 9.4% who were 65 or older.
