Berthoud Town is a United States town located in the Larimer and Weld counties, Colorado, United States. In 2000, the population was 4839. Its population was estimated at 5429 in July 2008, It is the 93rd largest in terms of population. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.06 sq mi (10.52 sq km), of which, 3.97 square miles (10.28 sq km) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 sq km) of it is water, making it Colorado's 108th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4839 people, 1821 households, and 1332 families residing in the town. The population density was 1219.7 people per square mile (470.93/kmē), it is the 152nd most densely populated town in the U.S. state of Colorado. There were 1883 housing units at an average density of 474.3 per square mile (183.13/kmē). The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.12. In the Berthoud Town, 29.4% of the population was under the age of 18, 7% were 18 to 24, 33.7% were 25 to 44, 21.3% were 45 to 64, and 8.6% who were 65 or older.
