Berlin City is a city located in Green Lake and Waushara counties, Wisconsin, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Berlin City is home to 5305 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 4997, It is the 120th largest in terms of population. Its area is just over 6.31 sq mi (16.34 square kilometre), of which, 5.98 square miles (15.49 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.33 square miles (0.85 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 94th largest by total area among Wisconsin.

In the city the population is diverse age-wise, with 25.1% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 18% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 92.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.4 males. The median age of the city's population was 38.3 years, the median age of male residents at 36.8 and the median age of female residents at 40.1. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 95.7% White, 0.15% Black or African American, 0.28% American Indian, 0.77% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, 0.6% from two or more races and 2.47% Other races.
