Berlin City is a city located in the Coos County, New Hampshire, United States. As of 2000 the population was 10331. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 9556, It is the 14th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 62.46 square miles (161.77 square kilometre), of which, 61.73 square miles (159.88 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.73 square miles (1.89 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the second largest by total area in New Hampshire. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in New Hampshire.

As of the census of 2000, there were 10331 people in the city, organized into 4555 households, and 2902 families living in the city. The population density was 167.4 people per square mile (64.63/kmē), making its New Hampshire's least densely populated city. There were 5111 housing units at an average density of 82.8 per square mile (31.97/kmē). The average household size was 2.22 and the average family size was 2.74.
