Beresford City, South Dakota is a city of the Union and Lincoln counties, South Dakota, United States. The population of the city was 2006 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2150, It is the 37th largest by population in the U.S. state of South Dakota. It has total area of 1.78 square miles (4.61 sq km), making it the 69th largest by size in South Dakota.
