Benson Cdp is a census designated place located in Cache County, Utah, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As per the 2000 census, census designated place has a population of 1451 inhabitants. It is 136th most populous in Utah. Its area is just over 33.93 square miles (87.88 square kilometre), of which, 30.91 square miles (80.06 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.03 square miles (7.85 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the eighth largest by area in the U.S. state of Utah. It is ranks second in the size of its inland waterways in Utah.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1451 residents, 415 households, and 351 families in the census designated place. The population density was 46.9 people per square mile (18.11/kmē), making its Utah's 38th least densely populated census designated place.
