Benavides City, Duval County, Texas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1686 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1517, making it Texas's 712th largest. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.81 mi˛ (4.69 sq km ), it is the 930th largest in terms of geographical size.
