Bemidji City is a city located in Beltrami County, Minnesota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Bemidji City is home to 11917 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 13541, making it Minnesota's 75th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 12.95 square miles (33.54 kmē), of which, 11.78 square miles (30.51 kmē) of it is land and 1.18 square miles (3.06 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 84th largest by total area among Minnesota.
