Belwood Town is a town located in the Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States. The population of the town was 962 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1018, It is the 396th largest by population in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is spread over 12.31 square miles (31.88 kmē), of which, 12.3 square miles (31.86 kmē ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 64th largest by total area among North Carolina.
