Belvedere City is a city located in the Marin County, California, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2125. The July 2008 population estimate is 2059, It is the 295th smallest by population in the U.S. state of California. It has total area of 2.42 mi˛ (6.27 sq km), of which, 0.54 square miles (1.4 sq km) of it is land and 1.89 square miles (4.9 sq km) of it is water, making it California's 325th smallest by total area.
