Belmont Town is a town in the Tishomingo County, Mississippi, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1961 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1930, making it Mississippi's 128th largest. The town extends throughout a territory of 4.73 sq mi (12.25 square kilometre ), of which, 4.72 square miles (12.22 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 116th largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1961 people, 799 households, and 555 families living in the town. The population density was 415.7 people per square mile (160.5/kmē), it would be the 212th most densely populated town in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
