Belmont City is a city in the San Mateo County, California, United States. In 2000, city's population was 25123 inhabitants. The city comprises an area of 4.53 mi˛ (11.73 square kilometre), of which, 4.53 square miles (11.73 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 571st largest by total area in California.
