Belle Glade City is a city in the Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population of the city was 14906 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 16681, It is the 187th most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. The city comprises an area of 4.66 mi˛ (12.07 sq km), of which, 4.65 square miles (12.04 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 352nd largest in terms of geographical size.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 14906 people, 4854 households, and 3434 families living in the city. The population density was 3206.2 people per square mile (1237.92/km˛), it is the 239th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Florida. The median age is 29.9 years, the median age of male residents at 30.1 and the median age of female residents at 29.8. The racial makeup of the city was 30.29% White, 50.68% Black or African American, 0.17% American Indian, 0.19% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, 8.93% from two or more races and 9.7% Other races.
