Belen City is a United States city located in the Valencia County, New Mexico, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 6901 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 7325, It is New Mexico's 32nd largest by population . The city spans an area of 4.72 square miles (12.22 square kilometre), it is the 110th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
