Beaver Dam City is a one of the Ohio County, Kentucky, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 3033. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 3133, making it Kentucky's 119th largest. The city comprises an area of 2.53 sq mi (6.55 square kilometre), giving it the 159th largest by total area among Kentucky.
