Beaver County is a county located in Utah, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 6005 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 6162, It is Utah's sixth least populous county. The county extends throughout a territory of 2592.28 sq mi (6713.97 sq km ), of which, 2589.95 square miles (6707.94 sq km) of it is land and 2.33 square miles (6.03 sq km) of it is water, making it the 13th largest by size in Utah.

The population density was 2.3 people per square mile (0.89/kmē), making it the 20th most densely populated county in Utah. There were 2660 housing units at an average density of 1 per square mile (0.39/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.93 persons, and the average family size was 3.42 persons. In the county Population was distributed with 33.5% under the age of 18, 9.4% from 18 to 24, 24% from 25 to 44, 19.2% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 106 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 106.4 males. The July 2008 population estimate is 6162, The racial makeup of the county was 5903 White, 25 Black or African American, 83 American Indian, 47 Asian, 6 Native Hawaiian, and 98 from two or more races.
