Beatrice City is a city located in Gage County, Nebraska, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 12496 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 12769, It is Nebraska's 13th largest by population . It is spread over 7.5 square miles (19.42 sq km), making it Nebraska's tenth largest by total area.
