Bayfield City is a city located in Bayfield County, Wisconsin, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 611 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 570, It is Wisconsin's 172nd smallest by population . It is spread over 0.88 square miles (2.28 square kilometre), of which, 0.87 square miles (2.25 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 101st smallest by total area in Wisconsin.
