Bayboro Town is a town located in Pamlico County, North Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 741 inhabitants. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 689, It is North Carolina's 213th smallest by population . It has total area of 1.49 square miles (3.86 square kilometre), of which, 1.47 square miles (3.81 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 215th smallest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
