The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 21, It is the seventh smallest by population in the U.S. state of Florida. Its area is just over 21.12 mi˛ (54.7 square kilometre), of which, 19.93 square miles (51.62 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.19 square miles (3.08 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Florida's 81st largest by total area.
