Bay City is a city located in Craighead County, Arkansas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1800. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 2030, giving it the 146th largest population among Arkansas. It has total area of 3.35 square miles (8.68 sq km), makes it the 155th largest by total area in Arkansas.
