Bastrop City is a one of the Morehouse Parish, Louisiana, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 12988 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 11814, giving it the 37th largest population among Louisiana. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.41 sq mi (21.78 square kilometre), it is the 66th largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana.
