The county comprises an area of 900.46 square miles (2332.18 square kilometre), of which, 894 square miles (2315.45 square kilometre) of it is land and 6.46 square miles (16.73 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 26th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.
