Barry County is a one of the county from Michigan's 83 counties, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 56755 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 58890, It is the 33rd largest in terms of population. The county spans an area of 576.9 mi˛ (1494.16 square kilometre), of which, 556.14 square miles (1440.4 square kilometre) of it is land and 20.77 square miles (53.79 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 23rd smallest by total area in Michigan.
