Barrington Village is a city located in the Cook and Lake counties, Illinois, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 10168 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 10374, It is the 204th largest by population in the U.S. state of Illinois. Its area is just over 4.77 mi˛ (12.35 square kilometre), of which, 4.6 square miles (11.91 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 228th largest by total area in Illinois.
