Barling City, Sebastian County, Arkansas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. It is home to over 4176 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 4471, giving it the 72nd largest population among Arkansas. The city encompasses an area of 22.07 sq mi (57.16 sq km ), of which, 21.94 square miles (56.82 sq km) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 18th largest by total area among Arkansas.
