Barbourville City is a city located in the Knox County, Kentucky, United States. The city has a population of 3589 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 3611, It is the 112th most populous in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.49 mi˛ (9.04 sq km ), giving it the 122nd largest by total area among Kentucky.
