As of July 2008, the estimated population was 26581, It is the 50th most populous in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city comprises an area of 9.23 sq mi (23.91 sq km), of which, 9.01 square miles (23.34 sq km) of it is land and 0.22 square miles (0.57 sq km) of it is water, it is the 105th largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.
