Banner County is one of the 93 county of Nebraska, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The county has a population of 819 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 735, It is the eighth smallest in terms of population. The county encompasses an area of 746.37 mi˛ (1933.09 sq km ), of which, 746.22 square miles (1932.7 sq km) of it is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 30th largest by total area in Nebraska.
