Bangor Borough is a borough located in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of the borough was 5319 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 5256 in July 2008, It is the 264th most populous in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The borough spans an area of 1.56 square miles (4.04 sq km), of which, 1.54 square miles (3.99 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it Pennsylvania's 506th largest by total area.
