Balsam Lake Village is a city located in Polk County, Wisconsin, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 950 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1031, making it Wisconsin's 380th largest. The city comprises an area of 3.27 sq mi (8.47 square kilometre), of which, 2.03 square miles (5.26 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.25 square miles (3.24 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 204th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 950 people, 76 households, and 48 families residing in the city. The population density was 469.1 people per square mile (181.12/kmē), it would be the 169th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
