Babbie Town is a town located in Covington County, Alabama, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Babbie Town is home to 627 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 623, It is the 159th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Alabama. Its area is just over 11.6 mi˛ (30.04 square kilometre), of which, 11.54 square miles (29.89 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 113th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
