Avondale Borough is a borough located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1108. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1086, It is the 842nd largest in terms of population. The borough has a total area of 0.49 sq mi (1.27 kmē), giving it the 306th smallest by total area among Pennsylvania.
