Avalon City is a city located in the Los Angeles County, California, United States. Avalon City had an official population of 3127 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3101, making it California's 700th largest. The city comprises an area of 3.15 square miles (8.16 sq km), of which, 2.81 square miles (7.28 sq km) of it is land and 0.33 square miles (0.85 sq km) of it is water, it is the 677th largest in terms of geographical size.
