Austin City is a United States city located in the Travis, Williamson and Hays counties, Texas, United States. It is home to over 656562 people (2000 census). The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 757688, making it the fourth most populous in Texas. It covers total area of 258.43 sq mi (669.33 sq km), of which, 251.52 square miles (651.43 sq km) of it is land and 6.91 square miles (17.9 sq km) of it is water, makes it the sixth largest by total area in Texas. It is ranks 15 in the size of its inland waterways in Texas.
