Austell City, Cobb County, Georgia is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of the city was 5359 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 7062, It is the 130th largest by population in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city extends throughout a territory of 5.7 mi˛ (14.76 sq km ), of which, 5.69 square miles (14.74 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it the 148th largest by size in Georgia.
