Augusta Village is a one of the Kalamazoo County, Michigan, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 899. Its population was estimated at 857 in July 2008, It is the 172nd least populous in the U.S. state of Michigan. It covers total area of 0.95 sq mi (2.46 square kilometre), of which, 0.93 square miles (2.41 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Michigan's 98th smallest by total area.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 899 residents, 368 households, and 238 families in the city. The population density was 962.7 people per square mile (371.7/kmē), making it the 365th most densely populated city in Michigan. There were 392 housing units at an average density of 421.5 per square mile (162.74/kmē). The average household size was 2.44 persons, and the average family size was 3.03 persons. In the Augusta Village, 27% of the population was under the age of 18, 6.5% were 18 to 24, 36.8% were 25 to 44, 19% were 45 to 64, and 10.7% who were 65 or older.
