Auburn City is a city located in the DeKalb County, Indiana, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 12074 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 13026, It is the 64th largest by population in the U.S. state of Indiana. Its area is just over 6.65 mi˛ (17.22 square kilometre), makes it the 73rd largest by total area in Indiana.
