Auburn City is one of the city of Barrow and Gwinnett counties, Georgia, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 6904 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 7496, It is the 111th most populous in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city spans an area of 5.34 square miles (13.83 kmē), makes it the 155th largest by total area in Georgia.
