Attapulgus City is a city located in Decatur County, Georgia, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 492. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 470, It is Georgia's 166th smallest by population . The city encompasses an area of 0.8 sq mi (2.07 kmē), making it Georgia's 69th smallest by total area.
