Atlantic Highlands Borough is a one of the Monmouth County, New Jersey, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, borough's population was 4705 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 4602, It is the 296th most populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The borough comprises an area of 4.51 sq mi (11.68 square kilometre), of which, 1.24 square miles (3.21 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.27 square miles (8.47 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 123rd largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks ninth in the size of its inland waterways in New Jersey.

The population density was 3805.4 people per square mile (1469.27/kmē), giving it the 169th most densely populated borough among the New Jersey.
