Atlantic Beach Village is a city located in the Nassau County, New York, United States. The city has a population of 1986 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1998, It is New York's 592nd largest by population . The city extends throughout a territory of 1 square miles (2.59 kmē ), of which, 0.48 square miles (1.24 kmē) of it is land and 0.52 square miles (1.35 kmē) of it is water, it is the 229th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1986 people in the city, organized into 766 households, and 570 families living in the city.
