Atlanta City is a city located in Cass County, Texas, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 5745. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 5475, It is Texas's 302nd largest by population . The city comprises an area of 11.07 square miles (28.67 square kilometre), of which, 10.93 square miles (28.31 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 211th largest by total area in Texas.
