Atlanta City is a United States city located in the Fulton, DeKalb, Clayton and Cobb counties, Georgia, United States. It is home to over 416474 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 537958, It is Georgia's largest by population . It covers total area of 132.42 miē (342.97 kmē), of which, 131.75 square miles (341.23 kmē) of it is land and 0.68 square miles (1.76 kmē) of it is water, makes it the third largest by total area in Georgia. It is ranks 19 in the size of its inland waterways in Georgia.
