Athens Village is a city in the Calhoun County, Michigan, United States. As of 2000 the population was 1111. Its population was estimated at 1034 in July 2008, It is Michigan's 207th smallest by population . The city spans an area of 1 sq mi (2.59 kmē), it is the 131st smallest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.
