Athens Borough is a one of the Bradford County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 3415. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 3209, It is 406th most populous in Pennsylvania. It has total area of 1.83 square miles (4.74 square kilometre), of which, 1.76 square miles (4.56 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 424th largest by total area in Pennsylvania.
