Ashton City is a city in the Fremont County, Idaho, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Ashton City is home to 1129 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1073, It is Idaho's 75th largest by population . The city spans an area of 0.55 square miles (1.42 sq km), it is the 68th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Idaho.
